Menehune Shores 312 - OCEANFRONT 1-BEDROOM, 1-BATH
Great location! This condo was well equipped and a good value for the price! The best feature is the view from the room and lanai! You are on the front of the building with the ocean literally a few feet away! The back bedroom gets quite warm so we used the pull out hide a bed and could hear the waves from the ocean alt night! If you want great value for location, this is a great unit! (Susan L - April 2015)
Menehune Shores 312 has many great features, including a roof-top deck with 360 Degree views of the ocean, West Maui mountains and the Island of Maui. There is also FREE WIFI, a lending library, swimming pool, and ocean access.

RAVE REVIEWS:
★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome view, relaxing condo complex
I can verify what the others have stated. The view is incredible, and the condo is right on the beach whereas many other places farther down Kihei are across the road to the beach (from crowded public beaches). The roof has a 360 view, picnic tables, and gas grills which we used several times which aren't in the pictures shown for some reason. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, dishes, knives, silverware, spices, plastic bins for leftovers, and virtually everything else you'd have at home which was great for simply having cereal or making our own meals. Full fridge with ice maker in freezer. Grocery stores (Safeway is one) and restaurants are a 5 minute drive away. (Be sure to get a pineapple - much sweeter than what I've ever had on the mainland). The condo is in a less busy, quieter area - so if you're looking for MTV spring break partying, this isn't the place. There's an Indian restaurant on the first floor of the building, so you'll get some great smells once in awhile if you like Indian food. Free wifi, free parking, towels, some snorkeling gear, boogie board, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, coolers (which we used for a picnic on the road to Hana and for our trip up Haleakala). The beach is private for the guests of the complex, so it was not crowded at all, they have the man-made stone walls that block the waves for a calmer area at the condo's beach. Pool looks nice, but we didn't use it. There is NO air conditioning, which some may find a little too warm, but with the windows open and the balcony door open, the breeze goes right through and cools at night - and there are ceiling fans in the bedroom, living room, kitchen, and bathroom, as well as a few other portable fans if needed. The bed had a lot of cushion/pillow top which was comfy. My girlfriend appreciated the hair dryers so she didn't have to pack one. Washer/dryer in unit. Easy to get to from the airport. There is a flatscreen TV, but TV stations were not in HD (but I didn't fly to Hawaii to watch TV). Bathroom sink was slow draining, but Bob had a guy take care of it immediately. I think we got very lucky to find this place - and I looked for several days on various websites. Hope I didn't build it up too much.” (Joe O. March 2015)
★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Discover a jewel in Kihei
“My husband and I just spent a glorious 2 weeks in Maui.
This condo was centrally located to beautiful beaches, harbors, grocery, restaurants, and hotel properties. We woke up to an incredible view from our lanai and had many meals enjoying our very private lanai and condo. The sunrises and sunsets over the ocean were amazing. The kitchen was stocked with every imaginable appliance and cooking utensils. The linens, towels and beach supplies were plentiful. We had a new in unit washer and dryer, free wi-fi, free parking. The breeze in the afternoon was lovely and kept it very pleasant along with the many fans around the condo. The grounds of the complex are impeccable and the sheltered beach is perfect for kids experiencing the surf for the first time. Our condo furnishings were delightedly Hawaiian in theme. Our property manager contact, Bob, was so kind and helpful. We truly cannot wait to return.” (Alice & Don Sep 2014)
★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The perfect Maui vacation condo
“We were very pleased with the condo - it was even nicer than the pictures on the website, and for the price we thought there must be a catch, but there wasn't at all! The condo was clean, nicely decorated and fully stocked - even the refrigerator had condiments and other useful items (but wasted on us since we didn't cook any meals there). The views were incredible, the grounds were beautiful (I had to be convinced that the perfect grass was real!), as was the pool, very nice, private beach that we had the beach all to ourselves, and the aromas coming from the Indian restaurant were to die for, and we appreciated the close proximity to our favorite town of Kihei for meals, snacks, coffees and shopping. The rooftop access was the topper (no pun intended!) - fully equipped with bbqs and picnic tables and incredible 360 degree views of the ocean, other islands, the volcano and surrounding hillsides. Everyone we met there (including the staff) was very friendly. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer! We will definitely be returning to Menehune Shores on our next visit to Maui.” (J&B Feb 2014)
★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful stay in Kihei
“We had a great stay in this condo. It had absolutely everything we needed, was clean, well maintained and quiet. Best of all was the lanai with an unbeatable ocean view. The roof top during sunset was awesome as it featured a nearly 360° round view with the summit of the Haleakala on one side and the Maalaea Bay on the other. Whether you want to visit the Haleakala, do whale watching or snorkeling or spend a leisure day at one of the wonderful beaches this condo is a great base.
The owner was really helpful.
A great place we really recommend and would happily visit again.” (Christian H. Nov 2013)
★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was Wonderful!
“We so enjoyed our stay at thiis condo. So close to the ocean you can almost jump in. Sunsets were fantastic. We looked forward to hearing the conch shell blown every night as the sun went down. The furnishings are basic, but just fine. The kitchen had everything we needed, including some condiments and other things left behind, which we SO much appreciated not having to buy when grocery shopping There are beach towels and snorkel equipment. There was laundry detergent. (All small things that add up quickly) We went out to dinner only one night -- we preferred to cook at the condo and eat on the lovely lanai. Nice grills on the roof. A little lending library by the elevators. Quiet (well there was some construction going on for a couple of days) Close to everything. One of our best vacations ever!!! Would go back in a heartbeat!” (AJ, Nov 2012)
