Maui Wedding Planning Tips

• When to wed: Anytime.  The year-round temperatures stay in the 70s and 80s during the day. Dry season runs May through October, but even in winter, rain showers are short and mild.  If you're looking to save a few bucks, and avoid the crowds, try planning your special day during the off months (May, June, September, October).
  
• If you plan to use a wedding coordinator, choosing wisely! Not all wedding planners are created equal.  We can point you in the direction of some good ones, so just ask!
• Planning your Maui wedding yourself?  If you are hoping for even a small beach wedding (as few as 2 people), you must get a beach permit.  Each beach wedding/renewal needs one.
• Houses are a very popular place to stay, but make sure you vacation home rental is LEGALLY PERMITTED. Maui County enacted a permitting process in 2012 that requires every home to be legally permitted in order to do business.  Make sure to ask for the permit number when confirming a home for your guests.
